Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a Telecom Team on a project for our client BICS. You will work on international networks, focusing on reliability, performance, and security of roaming and connectivity services.

The role involves configuring and troubleshooting network architectures, designing and implementing solutions, and maintaining design guides and documentation. Fluency in English and Cisco/Nokia expertise are required; exposure to SD-WAN and network

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in the field of Telecom, IT and/or Electronics.
5 years of relevant work experience in Telecom/Internet service provider environment or vendor
Fluent English
Cisco/Alcatel SR Certified at Professional/Expert level or equal through experience
Strong knowledge in Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR and Nokia SROS; IP/ MPLS/ VPN design and TE
Experience with QoS, IPsec, and network automation tools and scripting

Responsibilities

Configuring and troubleshooting different network architectures
Designing, testing, and implementing technical solutions based on business and operational requirements, considering recent technology evolutions
Designing, writing, and updating both system documentation and network design guidelines
Managing network's software & hardware lifecycle
Take part in a guard duty service to support our 24/7 organization (Optional)
