Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior .NET developer to lead the build of a new data and application platform for a client in investment banking. You will replace a seasoned developer, advise and guide the team, set technical direction, and ensure high-quality delivery.

The role emphasizes clean code, agile practices, and mentorship across the team. The position requires strong C#, Azure DevOps experience, and a proven track record on large-scale platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a .NET developer (C#) with a proven track record on long-term projects.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, CI/CD).
• Experience acting as a technical lead: advising, guiding, mentoring a development team.
• Experience building new platforms or major systems from the ground up.
• Experience in automated testing of .NET applications.
• Clean coding skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• RESTful API design experience.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong communication skills to clearly state requirements to other teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on Databricks.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps.
• Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
• Mentor developers and raise the technical level through code reviews and pair programming.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs and communicate requirements across teams.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and apply clean code principles.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration).
• Participate in agile ceremonies and coordinate with QA, product managers, and architects.
