Job summary

Luxoft seeks a senior .NET developer to lead the build of a new data and application platform for a client in the investment banking sector. You will replace a senior engineer, guide the team, and set technical direction and standards.

Responsibilities include building back-end services in .NET, Databricks data pipelines, and CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps. You will mentor the team, design RESTful APIs, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions through agile practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a .NET developer (C#).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to act as a technical lead: advising, guiding, and mentoring a development team.
• Experience building new platforms or major systems from the ground up.
• Experience in automated testing of .NET applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to clearly state requirements to other teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on Databricks.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps.
• Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
• Mentor developers and raise the technical level of the team through code reviews and pair programming.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs, communicating requirements across teams.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Apply clean code principles and contribute to engineering standards and tooling.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration).
• Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate with QA, PMs, and architects.
