Job summary

Luxoft in Kraków seeks a senior .NET developer to join our client's team and lead the build of a new data and application platform for an investment banking environment. You will replace a highly experienced developer, advise and guide the team, and set technical direction and standards.

The role focuses on clean code, agile methodologies, and high-quality delivery, with responsibilities spanning back-end services, data pipelines on Databricks, and CI/CD in Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional .NET (C#) experience on long-term projects.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps experience (repos, boards, pipelines).
• Ability to act as technical lead: advise, guide, and mentor the team.
• Experience building new platforms or major systems from ground up.
• Experience in automated testing of .NET applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Build and optimize data pipelines on Databricks.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
• Mentor developers and raise the technical level through code reviews and pairing.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs and communicate requirements across teams.
• Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Apply clean code principles and contribute to engineering standards.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration).
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and collaborate with QA, PMs, architects.
• Support and improve existing applications in fast-paced enterprise investment-banking environment.
