Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. Kraków is seeking an experienced R&D Software Developer focused on .NET application development to design, build, and maintain high-performance, real-time software systems for power grid solutions.

You will work with global teams to deliver secure, scalable back-end services, implement microservices with Docker/Kubernetes, and ensure long product lifecycles through robust testing and code quality practices.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
Advanced proficiency in the .NET stack: C#, REST Web Services & .NET Core.
Strong focus on unit/integration testing and clean code practices.
Hands-on with Git, build systems, containerization (Docker/Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes/Helm).
Experience with SQL databases; beneficial knowledge of Kafka, C++ and power grid domain.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance, secure .NET applications.
Design, develop and maintain microservices architecture for back-end.
Participate in code review.
Troubleshooting and bug fixing for issues from E2E testing.
Share knowledge with team members and improve code quality, performance and stability.
Collaborate with Product Owner and QA to ensure successful delivery.
