Hitachi Energy Services Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a QA Engineer to join a product team developing advanced energy applications, including algorithms for power networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience in test automation using Python.
• Willingness to develop expertise in Power Systems; prior knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, IEEE C37.118 is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and testing tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute testing strategies based on requirements and designs.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD using Azure DevOps to improve release quality.
• Validate test scenarios with physical lab equipment.
• Manage test execution and reporting using Zephyr Scale and Azure DevOps.
• Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.
• Develop domain knowledge in Power Systems across the product lifecycle.
