Job summary

Luxoft Poland in Kraków is seeking a senior .NET developer to lead the build of a new data and application platform for a client in investment banking. You will replace a highly experienced developer, guide the team, and set technical direction for high-quality delivery.

Design, build, and maintain backend services in C#, craft data pipelines on Databricks, and shape RESTful APIs. Expect agile ceremonies, mentorship, and close collaboration with QA, product managers, and architects to ensure

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a .NET developer (C#).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, CI/CD).
• Proven experience with Databricks.
• Proven ability to act as a technical lead: advising, guiding, mentoring a development team.
• Experience building new platforms or major systems from the ground up.
• Experience in automated testing of .NET applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly state requirements to other teams.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#)

Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on Databricks

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps

Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices while the new platform is built

Mentor developers and raise the technical level of the team through code reviews and pair programming

Define and consume RESTful APIs, clearly communicating requirements and constraints across teams

Translate business and product requirements into robust technical solutions

Apply clean code principles and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and tooling

Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration)

Participate actively in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), including refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Work closely with QA, product managers, and architects to ensure high-quality, business-aligned deliveries

Support and improve existing applications in a fast-paced, enterprise investment-banking environment
