Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Developer to join a self-organized Scrum team. You will design, implement, and maintain features across front-end and back-end systems (SOA), and drive the technical delivery to ensure high quality, performance, and scalability.

You will lead automation efforts, perform exploratory testing, and contribute to architecture decisions. You will mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and help improve CI/CD and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET and Angular.
• Strong automation and QA best practices; testing approaches including TDD.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructures; Azure experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and domain-driven design.
• Proficient English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain new features across front-end and back-end (SOA).
• Lead the technical delivery of features with focus on quality, scalability, and performance.
• Drive automation-first approach with E2E, API, and integration tests.
• Perform manual exploratory testing for complex scenarios.
• Define test strategies at feature/module level.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and teammates during analysis and development.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology decisions; mentor junior engineers.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and development tools; promote XP, TDD, and clean code.
• Participate in Sprint Reviews and demos; drive continuous improvement.
