Job summary

Newxel is seeking a Backend Engineer to contribute to the core index layer, processing video indexing signals and powering the auto-tagging engine for sports content. You will join a tight-knit backend squad, collaborating with AI and algorithm teams to deliver scalable, low-latency services.

You will lead design discussions, mentor peers, and participate in a weekly on-call rotation. Hybrid work with three days in the Warsaw office is expected, and you will work with Azure, SQL, Kafka, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial .NET experience in backend development.
• Hands-on Azure cloud development experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude, Cursor).
• Strong mentoring and design-discussion leadership.
• Hybrid work: 3 days per week in Warsaw.
