Job summary

PepsiCo Poland in Kraków seeks a senior DevOps/Cloud Architect to lead multi-cloud infrastructure, security, and CI/CD pipelines. Design scalable platforms with Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and GitOps across AWS and Azure.

You will mentor engineers, drive security shift-left initiatives, and partner with product teams to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or Site Reliability Engineering, with a proven lead track record.
• Cloud expertise across AWS and Azure with security tool familiarity (e.g., Wiz, GuardDuty, Defender).
• Pipeline security: integrate SAST and SCA in CI/CD pipelines; apply security frameworks (OWASP, CIS, NIST).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform proficiency (modules, state, workspaces).
• Kubernetes Mastery: experience with EKS/AKS, ingress, network policies.
• CI/CD & GitOps: GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, ArgoCD/Flux.
• Networking fundamentals: subnets, VPC/VNet, DNS, firewalls, VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform.
• Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS) for enterprise workloads.
• Develop and evolve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Embed security into pipelines to enable shift-left" security posture.
• Evaluate and adopt AI tooling to optimize infrastructure automation and troubleshooting.
• Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
• Oversee hybrid connectivity, VPNs, and DNS architectures.
