Job summary

HEINEKEN Kraków is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Digital & Technology Team. You will oversee cloud infrastructure projects, collaborate with the Global Cloud Team and Product Owner, and translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, secure solutions using Terraform and Azure.

You will drive automation, shape standards, and mentor junior engineers toward cloud certifications. This hands-on role requires strong communication in English, a track record in Agile environments, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in a similar role within an international environment.
• Expertise in cloud technologies listed or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud infrastructure implementation per Tribe Architect guidelines.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions and configurations.
• Build, deploy and maintain infrastructure automation with IaC (Terraform/Azure/ARM).
• Drive quality, manage technical debt, and improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Support teams with shared solutions and set technical directions.
• Implement security controls for public cloud solutions.
• Coordinate production incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with vendors for integration.
• Operate as a self-organising Agile team member.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide cloud career growth.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1 performance meetings.
• Evaluate performance against delivery priorities and dev.
• Provide feedback on collaboration with other product teams.
• Lead hiring and onboarding on compliance standards.
• Promote engineering culture and governance as code.
• Advocate for budget for cloud governance tools and training.
• Monitor wellbeing and workload balance; support organizational changes.
• Escalation point for people-related topics and development challenges.
