Job summary

Playtika in Warsaw seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and scale real-time personalized AI systems powering millions of users. You will apply your backend background and Python expertise to productionize data science prototypes and deploy GenAI capabilities at scale.

You will own end-to-end ML pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and product teams, implement observability and model serving, and stay current with the latest ML frameworks.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ML/Backend engineering with production-grade solutions.
• Strong Python skills and modern API development (FastAPI, Pydantic).
• Hands-on with streaming/data processing: Kafka, PySpark, Airflow/MLflow/Kubeflow.
• Experience deploying containerized apps (Docker, Kubernetes) and model serving.
• Self-driven, innovative, and collaborative across functions.
• Big Advantage: real-world personalization, recommender systems, or RL experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale ML serving architectures for real-time personalization or other AI systems.
• Transform data science prototypes into production-ready infrastructure and integrate GenAI models.
• Develop robust streaming pipelines for continuous inference and training workflows.
• Develop and maintain AI agents and tooling for AI-driven development workflows.
• Implement observability, tracing, and alerting for production ML systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Stay up to date with ML frameworks and GenAI developments.
