Job summary

Orange is seeking a Network Automation Leader for Microwave technology to drive standardization of NETCONF/YANG models, develop automation components, and lead testing efforts. The role involves coordinating with a Poland-based team and a Paris-based management team, with a focus on international collaboration across Microwave, Optical, WDM and IP technologies.

You will work within the Microwave Department, contributing to Andiamo program activities, architecture evolution, and engineering rule

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of network management systems and protocols (SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, RESTCONF, APIs).
• Excellent English communication skills; ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.
• Autonomous, proactive, solution-oriented, with good teamwork and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Standardize NETCONF/YANG models by collaborating with international operators and vendors.
• Design, test, and maintain automation scripts (Robot Framework) for validating network models with major vendors.
• Lead automation activities within the Andiamo program, translating needs into technical components and supporting deployment.
• Communicate effectively with international teams, vendors, and stakeholders in English.
