Job summary

Cooper Standard Automotive seeks a skilled professional to define user needs for MES and Digital Factory initiatives in Poland or Czech Republic. You will map current processes, identify optimization opportunities, and translate requirements to the IT and technology teams, guiding implementation and training.

The role requires 6–10 years in discrete manufacturing, strong facilitation, and a working knowledge of SAP. Travel of 10–25% is expected as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or IT
• 6–10 years of experience in discrete manufacturing
• Basic knowledge of Automotive MES & Digital Factory processes
• Experience in group facilitation
• Experience in business process mapping and optimization
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred

Responsibilities

• Define user needs for MES & Digital Factory functions through interviews with process owners and users
• Produce as-is process maps and recommended optimized process maps
• Determine user requirements for configuration and presentation of MES solutions
• Translate process outputs to the technology team lead and IT Manager
• Oversee implementation of approved actions, including training and user satisfaction
• Create lessons learned and monitor solution metrics for continuous improvement
