Job summary

ALTEN Kraków is seeking a Mechanical Simulation Engineer to support automotive projects on-site. You will perform advanced FEM simulations in Abaqus and conduct nonlinear analyses to optimize products.

Requirements include 5+ years in automotive and strong English, with collaboration across design, development and validation teams. The role offers a full-time contract, long-term cooperation, career path, and Medicover benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in Automotive industry with hands-on Abaqus FEM experience.
Experience in implicit and explicit nonlinear simulations.
Knowledge of Stress-Strain, Natural Frequency, Random Vibration, Shock/Impact, Thermal Expansion analyses.
Material calibration for polymers and elastomers.
Experience modifying existing simulation models and virtual validation.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced mechanical FEM simulations using Abaqus.
Run nonlinear implicit and explicit analyses for automotive products.
Evaluate product performance via multiple analyses (stress, frequency, vibration, thermal).
Collaborate with design, development and validation teams.
Support virtual product validation during development.
