Job summary

FEV Group in Kraków region (Liszki near Kraków) seeks a Regular/Senior Mechanical Engineer for R&D/Automotive. You will design test benches, cooling/exhaust/HVAC systems, and oversee manufacturing with technicians, while coordinating with suppliers and visiting customer sites.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience, SolidWorks/AutoCAD proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 40% within Poland and Europe. Office-based with flexible/hybrid work options and ongoing education offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation and Robotics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time within Poland and Europe - depending on project stage.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of test bench components, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and HVAC systems (P&ID, 3D modeling, 2D drawings).
• Manufacture of designed components in cooperation with technicians.
• Cooperation with suppliers and specification of required components.
• Visits to customer sites for installation of new equipment and maintenance activities.
• Commissioning of equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Coordination and supervision of work performed at customer sites by third-party contractors engaged by FEV.
• Active participation in project development through verification of designed solutions against the final implementation.
• Active participation in the assembly, installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment and systems at FEV facilities and at customer sites.
