Qualification
- Graduated engineer (MSc) in mechanical engineering or equivalent with minimum of 8 years of professional career in mechanical engineering position
- At least 5 years of professional experience in ICE engine design, capable of independently designing and developing engine component groups
- Deep background on ICE system requirements, including NVH, durability, lubrication, and thermal aspects, with experience in related test procedures and practical application
- Strong knowledge of design principles beyond CAD, including DFM/DFA, D‑FMEA, and ETRS
- Excellent design skills in 2D and 3D (e.g., Catia, 3DExperience, Creo, NX)
- Good knowledge of PLM system release processes and global product development cycles
- Ability to present projects to customers ensuring continuity and high‑quality project delivery
- Ability to handle tasks by a holistic approach and take responsibility for the result of this task
- Proactive mindset, problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Very good command of English both written and spoken (German would be an advantage)

Tasks
- Design and develop ICE engine’s component group with tight collaboration with simulation experts
- Mechanical design in CAD systems (e.g., Catia, 3DExperience, Creo, NX…)
- Lead two to three designers in the project and/or dedicated team
- Define and manage a key technical requirements & interface specification across systems
- Design, analyze and report results of product status, performance, safety, and reliability tests to key members
- Lead resolution of complex integration issues discovered during design, prototyping, and testing phases
- Execute activities like reporting, supplier management, DFM, DFA, ETRS, etc.
- Monitor project / task deliverables, customer relation, and work output quality
