Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical design for automotive lighting from design validation through industrialization. You will own technical decisions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure timely project execution across international engineering groups.

The role emphasizes hands-on DV activities, design updates, and collaboration with project management, testing, and manufacturing to enable a smooth transition to production on-site in Chrzanów.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical product development within the automotive industry.
• Experience leading development activities from concept through industrialization, particularly in automotive lighting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials engineering, and physics fundamentals relevant to product design.
• Hands-on experience with design validation and product testing processes.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and work independently.
• Fluent English communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with international teams.
• On-site work in Chrzanów.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Design Validation (DV) activities, including design updates, technical investigations and issue resolution.
• Coordinating cross-functional cooperation with project management, testing, manufacturing, tooling and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Ensuring compliance with mechanical design principles, product requirements and quality standards throughout the development process.
• Participating in technical reviews, risk assessments and design change management to mitigate potential issues.
• Supporting product industrialization and manufacturing readiness activities, facilitating a smooth transition to production.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of automotive lighting products. In this role, you will take ownership of mechanical design activities, coordinate technical decisions, and drive product development from the Design Validation phase through to industrialization. You will work closely with international engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
