Zusammenfassung

Electrolux in Żarów, Poland, is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join our R&D team and drive the development of components and subsystems for CARE products from concept to production, across prototype and testing stages in an international setting.

You will design mechanical solutions, ensure modularization, maintain CAD models, and define robust test plans. The role requires collaboration with suppliers, manufacturing, and QA to deliver reliable, cost‑effective outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical engineering degree required; master's or specialization is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in mass production development.
• Experience with plastic injection moulding and/or sheet metal stamped design.
• Strong CAD modelling and drafting skills; CatiaV5 a plus.
• Knowledge of FEA, mold-flow, formability simulation.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Fluent English; cross‑functional collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing.

Aufgaben

• Create mechanical design solutions meeting technical and performance specs.
• Design components from concept to industrialization with modular approach.
• Maintain 3D/2D models in CAD (PLM).
• Define test plans to certify robustness; collaborate with labs and QA.
• Support component supply specs and test manual definition.
• Analyze technical solutions with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with component/product approvals; disposition inspection results.
• Support project deliveries, planning, and prototyping documentation.
• Contribute to cost and quality improvements with regional teams.
• Develop external networking with suppliers and partners.
