Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Senior Mechanical R&D Test Engineer in Warsaw to lead mechanical AIT for our new generation of optical spacecraft. You will design and build MGSE and the satellite-level qualification mass model, orchestrating vibration and acceptance tests to prove readiness for launch.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, transfer test knowledge to production, and drive design changes from concepts to prototyping.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical AIT and test campaigns.
• Can-do attitude and hands-on engineering mindset.
• Able to work independently and in a team under pressure.
• Experience with vibration testing and mechanical validation of hardware.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and ability to create/manufacture drawings.

Responsibilities

• Execute qualification and acceptance vibration tests for satellites and subsystems; design and build the satellite-level qualification mass model.
• Design, build, and maintain MGSE for the new generation of spacecrafts.
• Lead flight model integration and create AIT procedures; transfer knowledge to production.
• Feed findings back to design teams and drive design changes from concept to prototyping.
