Job summary

Luxoft Poland is expanding its QA forces to support trading desktop applications used by a top-tier hedge fund partner. We seek a passionate Senior QA Engineer with hands-on manual testing experience to join a fast-paced, collaborative team.

You will work closely with traders, developers and the global QA group to design, implement and improve test coverage, reliability and release quality, including integration tests and CI workflows.

Qualifications

• Senior with hands-on manual testing experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of QA manual testing.
• Proficient with Linux terminal, shell/bash and Python.
• Proactive ownership and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve manual testing coverage.
• Improve transparency of internal QA processes.
• Propose approaches to enhance quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum deliveries.
• Collaborate with developers, traders and QA teams.
• Design and build integration tests with the global QA team.
• Work with developers to improve testability and environments.
• Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus a plus).
• Able to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
• Prepare for occasional late hours (until 21:00 once per week).

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 12 years.

Now we are expanding QA forces in the team owning trading desktop applications.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Senior QA Engineer.

You will work in close collaboration with traders, developers, engineers and whoever you find useful to improve the quality and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve manual testing coverage
• Continuously increase quality and transparency of internal processes
• Actively propose solutions and approaches to improve quality
• Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver software releases
• Team Player with the ability to work with development, support and QA teams
• Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests
• Work with developers on improving system testability and creating a testing environment
• Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery
• Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus a plus)
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence
• Late working hours (till 18:00, 1 per week till 21:00)
