Job summary

Luxoft Germany is expanding its QA team to support trading desktop applications for a long-term partner hedge fund. We seek a Senior QA Engineer who thrives in a fast, high-pressure environment and enjoys hands-on testing with a focus on quality and delivery.

You will collaborate with traders, developers and global QA colleagues to improve coverage, design integration tests, and participate in Agile/Scrum releases.

Qualifications

• Senior with hands-on manual testing experience.
• 5+ years of QA manual testing.
• Hands-on with Linux terminal - shell/bash, Python.
• Proactiveness.
• Ownership.
• "Can do" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve manual testing coverage.
• Continuously increase quality and transparency of internal processes.
• Actively propose solutions and approaches to improve quality.
• Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver software releases.
• Team Player with the ability to work with development, support and QA teams.
• Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests.
• Work with developers on improving system testability and creating a testing environment.
• Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery.
• Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus a plus).
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment.
• Late working hours (till 18:00, 1 per week till 21:00).

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 12 years.Now we are expanding QA forces in the team owning trading desktop applications.We are looking for a passionate and energetic Senior QA Engineer.You will work in close collaboration with traders, developers, engineers and whoever you find useful to improve the quality and delivery performance.
