Job summary

Luxoft Poland is expanding its QA team for trading desktop applications and seeks a Senior QA Engineer who will work closely with traders, developers and QA colleagues. The role focuses on improving manual testing coverage and the overall quality of processes in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You will collaborate with the global QA team to design integration tests, enhance testability, and support continuous delivery initiatives, including CI tools.

Qualifications

• Senior with hands-on manual testing experience.
• 5+ years of QA manual experience.
• Hands-on with Linux terminal - shell/bash, python.

Responsibilities

• Improve manual testing coverage.
• Increase quality and transparency of internal processes.
• Propose solutions to improve quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum to deliver releases.
• Collaborate with traders, developers and QA teams.
• Design and build integration tests with the global QA team.
• Improve testability and testing environment with developers.
• Work with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus).
• Prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment; maintain urgency and independence.
• Possible late hours (till 18:00, 1 per week till 21:00).

We've been developing trading software for our partner - a top-tier hedge fund - for over 12 years.

Now we are expanding QA forces in the team owning trading desktop applications.

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Senior QA Engineer.

You will work in close collaboration with traders, developers, engineers and whoever you find useful to improve the quality and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve manual testing coverage
• Continuously increase quality and transparency of internal processes
• Actively propose solutions and approaches to improve quality
• Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver software releases
• Team Player with the ability to work with development, support and QA teams
• Work closely with the global QA team to design and build integration tests
• Work with developers on improving system testability and creating a testing environment
• Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery
• Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus a plus)
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence
• Late working hours (till 18:00, 1 per week till 21:00)
