Danish Crown Global Business Services (GBS) Kraków is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Apps & Automation team and drive performance across Denmark and Poland. You will coach nine teammates, shape capability development, and align with Service Owners and Domain Leadership to ensure delivery excellence.

The role focuses on people leadership, workforce planning, and delivery oversight, while strategic tech direction, architecture, and product ownership are handled elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing cross-country technical teams.
• Experience with performance management and talent development.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and capacity management.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and people development skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with automation and low-code platforms is an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a people-focused Development Manager to lead and develop our Apps & Automation team, comprising nine team members. You will join an international setup and support employees across Denmark and Poland, with a strong focus on coaching, capability development, engagement, team performance, and creating the conditions for sustainable delivery.

You will help employees grow in their roles, identify future skill needs, and ensure that the team has the right competencies and capacity to support current and future service demands. Working closely with Service Owners and Domain Leadership, you will be accountable for building a capable, engaged, and accountable team that delivers on agreed service commitments.

This is primarily a people leadership role with responsibility for team performance, capability development, workforce planning, and delivery oversight. Strategic technology direction, architecture decisions, product ownership, and business prioritization are handled through other roles in the organization.

Your Role

As Development Manager, you will be the primary people manager for the Apps & Automation team. You will lead through coaching, clear expectations, regular dialogue, and active support for each employee’s professional and personal development.

The role focuses on people leadership, performance management, development, recruitment, team health, and delivery accountability. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team has the capacity, capabilities, and operating environment needed to deliver high-quality and stable outcomes while supporting employees in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop employees across the Apps & Automation team

• Act as the escalation point for people-related matters and delivery challenges within the team
