DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Mainframe Support Engineer to deliver operational services for outsourcing accounts, focusing on minimizing downtime and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with team leads and support teams, with hybrid work from Warsaw, Krakow, or Wroclaw.

You will apply ITIL practices, perform deep troubleshooting, and contribute to CMDB and change planning. A strong CICS background, 5+ years mainframe experience, and English (B2) are required.

• Collaborate with Team Technology Lead, Account Support Team, and other support teams.
• Maintain deep understanding of the customer environment and support processes.
• Follow ITIL standards and proactively address service issues.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Participate in quality and productivity projects and ensure process compliance.
• Provide technical consultation, training, and lead workshops; complete mandatory training.

Senior Mainframe Support Engineer – responsible for delivering operational services to outsourcing accounts, focusing on minimizing unplanned downtime and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Works closely with team leads and support teams, under direct supervision of the management.

Location

Hybrid from Warsaw, Krakow, or Wroclaw.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Team Technology Lead, Account Support Team, and other support teams.
• Maintain deep understanding of the customer’s business, environment, and support processes.
• Follow ITIL standards and proactively address service issues.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Participate in quality and productivity projects, ensuring process compliance.
• Provide technical consultation, training, and lead workshops; keep up with mandatory training requirements.
• Conduct deep‑level troubleshooting, participate in Root Cause Analysis, and manage problem lifecycles.
• Implement and plan changes, participate in advisory boards, and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Implement technical projects related to the responsible platform/technology.

Required Skills And Experience

• Primary requirement – CICS expertise.
• Minimum of 5+ years hands‑on mainframe knowledge.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
• Preferably 10+ years experience within IT Operations or infrastructure services support.
• Excellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes.
• Fluent in English (B2).
