Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a System Administrator to manage mission-critical systems for clients across industries. You will handle day-to-day operations, ensure security compliance, prioritize tickets, and collaborate with technicians to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools including Broadcom OPS MVS and Mainview Auto Operator.
• Proficiency in REXX and mainframe automation concepts.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, high availability, and GDPS environments.
• Experience integrating z/OS automation with platforms like z/VM and OMEGAMON.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Skills required

• Deeply knowledge on Automation tools for example Broadcom OPS MVS, Mainview Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, System Automation
• Deeply REXX programming knowledge
• Maintenance & upgrades
• Perform z/OS automation software conversion/transformation
• Create integration between z/OS automation software and other platforms or tools, such as z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, etc.
• Install and customize, upgrade GDPS, integrate new systems into an existing GDPS environment
• Implement, test and validate Hyperswap
• Develop disaster recovery and high availability processes
• Prepare and validate other software and hardware upgrades (Mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, MQ, etc.)
• Knowledge on change and incidents tools in order to create & maintenance automated solutions
• AI knowledge and practical implementations
• Ability to keep conversation in English and or Spanish
