Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a System Administrator to manage critical systems data, deliver day-to-day solutions, and ensure security compliance for diverse client projects. You will prioritize tickets and collaborate with technicians to provide optimal outcomes across industries including banking and retail.

You will also identify modernization opportunities, develop strong stakeholder relationships, and grow your technical leadership through hands-on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of automation tools and mainframe management.
• Proficient in REXX programming for maintenance and upgrades.
• Experience with z/OS automation software and conversions.
• Ability to create integrations between z/OS tools and other platforms (z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW).
• Experience upgrading and integrating GDPS environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance.

The Role

You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

• Deeply knowledge on Automation tools for example Broadcom OPS MVS, Mainview Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, System Automation
• Deeply REXX programming knowledge Maintenance & upgrades
• Perform z/OS automation software conversion/transformation
• Create integration between z/OS automation software and other platforms or tools, such as z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, Netcool, etc.
• Install and customize, upgrade GDPS, integrate new systems into an existing GDPS environment
• Implement, test and validate Hyperswap
• Develop disaster recovery and high availability processes
• Prepare and validate other software and hardware upgrades (Mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, MQ, etc.).
• Knowledge on change and incidents tools in order to create & maintenance automated solutions
• AI knowledge and practical implementations
• Ability to keep conversation in English and or Spanish
