GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction seeks an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large-scale M&E project in Poznań, Poland. The role is anchored with an Ireland-based contractor delivering a flagship European assignment.
You will lead subcontract procurement, manage valuations and change control, and mentor junior QS staff on site, with focus on NEC/FIDIC contracts and international coordination.
Our client is an established Tier 1 contractor with a strong track record of delivering large, technically demanding developments for some of the most recognised international names in the mission-critical space. Their projects are defined by scale, speed and precision, and their reputation has been built on delivering to the exacting standards these clients expect.
Headquartered in Ireland with an expanding footprint across mainland Europe, the business has become a go-to delivery partner for repeat clients who trust it with their most important facilities. That trust has translated into a deep and sustained project pipeline, with multiple major programmes live or in development across the continent.
Continued European growth is driving investment in commercial capability, particularly within mechanical and electrical, where package value and technical complexity are highest. This appointment offers an experienced M&E QS the chance to step into a pivotal commercial role on one of the business’s flagship European projects.
The organisation places real emphasis on developing its people, with structured progression, exposure to senior commercial leadership and the backing of a business that rewards performance and long-term commitment.
You will be assigned to a large-scale technical facility in Poznań, forming part of a well-resourced project team delivering a fast-track, high-specification build. The M&E scope is substantial, covering major mechanical, electrical and critical systems packages that sit at the heart of the facility’s performance.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with project management, engineering and procurement teams, as well as the client’s representatives and a multinational supply chain. The site culture is collaborative, organised and focused on delivery, with robust commercial systems and processes supporting consistency across the European portfolio.
Employment is through the Irish business, giving you the stability and structure of an Ireland-based role alongside the experience of a major European assignment. It is an excellent opportunity to build an international track record on a flagship project, with ownership of the M&E commercial position from procurement through to final account.
This role offers a base salary of €130,000 alongside a comprehensive package, typically including support for international assignment such as travel and accommodation, pension and healthcare. You will gain experience on a flagship European mission-critical project with a Tier 1 contractor, backed by structured progression towards Commercial Manager level and long-term opportunities across a growing European pipeline.
