Job summary

A leading AI solutions provider in Poland is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and deliver production-grade AI solutions. You will work at the intersection of machine learning, data engineering, and product delivery, focusing on fine-tuning and deploying Large Language Models. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in data science, strong skills in Python and ML frameworks, and experience working with LLMs. The role offers a remote-first, flexible working culture with benefits including company apartments in various European cities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles.
• Strong background in ML, NLP, and applied statistics.
• Hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience working with LLMs (fine-tuning, prompting, or RAG-based systems).
• Solid understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, and performance trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and structure proprietary datasets for training and evaluation.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs using techniques such as LoRA / QLoRA.
• Design evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and business impact.
• Build and deploy inference pipelines for production use.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business problems into ML solutions.
• Improve model performance through experimentation, iteration, and data-centric approaches.
• Contribute to architecture decisions around scalable AI systems.
