Job summary

trimetis is seeking a Linux & Automation Engineer for an international client that supplies control center solutions for safety-critical environments. The role focuses on configuring Linux systems, virtualization, containerization, and automation to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure for software deployment.

You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, work with KVM and Podman, enforce SELinux security, and automate tasks with Python and Bash in a 100% remote Poland setup.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience as Linux & Automation Engineer or similar.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM).
• Experience with containerization tools (Podman).
• Solid understanding of Linux security concepts (SELinux).
• Hands-on CI/CD experience (Jenkins or similar).
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Fluent English, min. B2.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain complex Linux-based environments.
• Manage and optimize virtual environments (KVM) and container platforms (Podman).
• Ensure system security and compliance, including SELinux configuration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate tasks with Python and Bash.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve reliability.
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization.
