Job summary

CHEP is seeking an experienced attorney to provide strategic legal support across the region and globally from its Warsaw base. The role covers commercial contracts, dispute management, IP issues, and regulatory compliance, with leadership in a matrix organization.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years post-qualification experience, a law degree from an accredited school, and fluency in English and Polish. Hybrid work model with quarterly in-office presence in Warsaw, and regional responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, commercial legal counsel to regional leadership and business units across the region and global corporation.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts with key customers, vendors and service providers.
• Advise on and lead M&A transactions and due diligence efforts.
• Manage day-to-day legal matters including plant operations, logistics, asset management and real estate matters.
• Lead litigation strategy and manage IP matters, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and deliver training on ethics, Speak Up, and competition law; optimize processes.
