Job summary

Coupa is seeking a Sr Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to architect and optimize our CI/CD ecosystem across 140+ Kubernetes clusters. You will design automated, secure deployment paths enabling rapid, reliable code delivery while upholding stringent security and operational standards.

You will mentor teams, drive GitOps adoption (ArgoCD/Flux), and integrate security checks within pipelines, ensuring scalable, enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
• Deep expertise in GitOps deployment strategies and tooling.
• Proficiency in scripting/development languages (Typescript/NodeJS, Python, Go, Bash) and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines for a Kubernetes environment.
• Drive the adoption of GitOps methodologies to ensure declarative, automated deployments.
• Optimize pipeline performance and build times, reducing bottlenecks and manual steps.
• Integrate security scanning, quality gates, and observability into pipelines.
• Collaborate with Platform and Software Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with container infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers on DevOps best practices and GitOps paradigms.
