Job summary

Point72 Asset Management, L.P. is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE to manage and optimize our enterprise SDLC platforms and AWS-based CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Artifactory, implementing security controls and automation to improve developer productivity. You will collaborate with software engineering teams and business units to resolve platform challenges, champion secure practices, and help scale our containerized, cloud-native infrastructure across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong technical expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS) and container orchestration.
• Deep understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
• Strong hands-on programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) in AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with CICD solutions like Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab.
• Strong knowledge of secure SDLC practices and security automation.
• Experience supporting large-scale development environments with complex CI/CD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for enterprise SDLC platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and optimize artifact management solutions (Artifactory) and code quality tools (SonarQube).
• Partner with business teams to address platform challenges and deliver solutions.
• Implement and maintain security controls across development toolchains and infra.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and boost productivity.
• Troubleshoot build, deploy, and integration issues across environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD infra improvements in AWS.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge bases.
