Job summary

Allegro.eu S.A. in Poznań is looking for an experienced Kubernetes-focused engineer to maintain and tune clusters running on‑premise and in Public Cloud. You will leverage FOSS, develop in a GitOps-driven workflow, and contribute to automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong Linux (Ubuntu) administration, hands-on Kubernetes and container tech (Docker/Containerd), scripting with Git/Bash, and solid networking knowledge. English and Polish (B2) are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven Linux experience, especially Ubuntu, with storage and admin tasks.
• Solid hands-on Kubernetes and container tech experience (Docker, Containerd).
• Daily use of Git and Bash for workflow automation and scripting.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/UDP, HTTP, SSL) and problem solving.
• Fluent in English and Polish (minimum B2).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production Kubernetes systems on‑premise and in public cloud.
• Work in accordance with GitOps principles to manage infrastructure and apps.
• Automate and optimize tools for team operations and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Build and implement CI/CD pipelines for services.
• Create custom tools when FOSS options do not meet needs.
• Participate in daily meetings, manage backlog, and resolve critical issues.
