Job summary

Grid Dynamics seeks a Senior Kotlin Mobile Engineer to oversee a full rewrite of a Fortune 500 leader’s mobile app. You will lead a dedicated engineering pod, define technical direction, and ensure delivery using Kotlin and Kotlin/Native.

You will drive architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with backend teams on API contracts, while maintaining ownership of quality and delivery in a hybrid on-site/off-site setup in Kraków.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing mobile applications in Kotlin.
• Hands-on Kotlin/Native development experience.
• Experience configuring builds with Kotlin DSL.
• Proven track record leading engineering teams or workstreams.
• Ability to own large-scale rewrite efforts and delivery.

We are seeking a Senior Kotlin Mobile Engineer to join a new initiative focused on a full rewrite of the mobile application for a Fortune 500 leader in B2B distribution and supply chain. In this role, you will lead a dedicated engineering pod, setting the technical direction for the new application and owning its delivery with Kotlin and Kotlin/Native.

Responsibilities

• Mobile Application Rewrite: Drive the end-to-end rewrite of the client's mobile application, from shaping the new architecture to delivering production-ready features.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a pod of engineers, set coding standards, review code, and keep the team aligned on priorities and quality.
• Kotlin/Native Development: Design and build shared application logic in Kotlin and Kotlin/Native.
• Build & Configuration Ownership: Own and evolve the project's build setup and configuration using Kotlin DSL.
• Back-end Collaboration: Work closely with back-end teams on integrations and API contracts, bringing a full-stack view to technical decisions.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in mobile software development with Kotlin.
• Kotlin/Native: Hands-on experience building applications or shared modules with Kotlin/Native.
• Kotlin DSL: Practical experience configuring and maintaining builds with Kotlin DSL.
