Grid Dynamics in Kraków is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Data Product Owner to join the EMEA data strategy and enablement function. You will own data products powering analytics, AI and operational workflows across the region.

You will translate business needs into technical requirements and lead the team to deliver production-ready, governed data products with GDPR compliance and data residency across markets.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of experience in product management or ownership, data platforms, analytics or digital strategy.
• Delivery ownership: manage a delivery team to ship against scope.
• Stakeholder leadership with exec, technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile product craft: backlog management, story writing, and agile delivery at scale.
• Data fluency: ELT/ETL, event streaming, data modelling, semantic layers and observability.
• Regulation & ethics: GDPR, data privacy, security, and AI ethics.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, CS, Engineering or related field.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Own the data product lifecycle from vision through to a 12–24 month outcome-based roadmap, backlog, release, adoption and measurable value.
• Requirements to Delivery: Elicit needs from senior stakeholders, translate into technical requirements and prioritised epics and stories, lead refinement and planning with DoR/DoD, and drive the team to ship against scope.
• Governance & Compliance by Design: Embed data governance, privacy, security and lifecycle controls into every increment, ensuring GDPR and data residency compliance across multiple markets.
• Data Contracts & Reuse: Maintain versioned data contracts and semantic layers for cross-domain interoperability, drive reuse of enterprise data platforms and reference architecture.
• Value & Executive Reporting: Define and track KPIs and OKRs (adoption, time-to-data, data trust, NPS, ROI), run quarterly value reviews, and prepare business cases for executive decisions.
• Operations & Budget: Lead incident triage, root cause analysis and release and change management, and own the product budget, forecast and ROI reporting to Finance.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Data Product Owner to join the EMEA data strategy and enablement function of a global medical technology company, owning data products that power analytics, AI and operational workflows across the region. In this role, you will work between senior business stakeholders and the quote and tender data engineering team, pulling out and shaping business needs, turning them into technical requirements and developer-ready stories, and leading the team through to delivery of governed, production-ready data products.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Own the data product lifecycle from vision and a 12–24 month outcome-based roadmap through backlog, release, adoption and measurable value.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management or ownership, data platforms, analytics or digital strategy, with a track record of taking data products from concept to scaled adoption.
• Delivery Ownership: Proven ability to manage a delivery team to ship against scope, not only to define requirements.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Excellent communication and facilitation skills with executive, technical and non-technical audiences, and a proactive approach to drawing out requirements rather than documenting what is handed over.
• Agile Product Craft: Expert-level backlog management, story writing, acceptance testing and agile delivery at scale with Scrum or Kanban.
• Data Fluency: Practical understanding of ELT/ETL, event streaming, data modelling, semantic layers and production operations, including SLAs/SLOs and observability.
• Regulation & Ethics: Strong grasp of GDPR, data privacy, regulatory frameworks, security and AI ethics.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Multi-Market Experience: Background working in a matrixed, multi-country organisation.
