Job summary

Sii Poland in Krakow is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our client's team on-site in Cracow. You will participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including analysis, testing, and production support, working closely with a team of 4 to 6 people and a dedicated product owner.

We value collaboration, strong coding practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of development experience in Java, Spring Framework and Python.
• Deep understanding of key software development concepts such as SOLID, Clean Code, DDD, and BDD.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with machine learning, NLP, AI, or Data Science is an advantage.
• Ability to teach and collaborate with engineers to design new systems and solutions.
• Effective communication skills in written and oral English.
• Prior experience with event streaming technology.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Participating in all phases of the development life cycle, including analysis, testing, and production support
• Collaborating within a team to take business requirements, break them into stories, and deliver each story iteratively to production
• Providing product support as an integral part of the role, following the principle that the team builds and supports the product
• Identifying areas of technical debt and ensuring a healthy balance between addressing it and delivering new functionality
• Designing solutions for new items while adhering to technology guidelines and constraints
• Engaging in pair programming with other team members to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing
