Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced backend developer to join a Regulatory Reporting Platform for a large US investment bank. You will design and optimize data pipelines using Java and Spark, transforming data for regulatory outputs across many jurisdictions.

The role requires strong SQL skills, 6+ years in Java, and 2+ years with Spark, with collaboration across Ukraine, Poland, and the US in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial Java experience.
• 2+ years of Spark experience.
• Strong SQL and handling large datasets.
• Proven ability to work in a global distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a large-scale Regulatory Reporting Platform.
• Build data pipelines and batch processing for regulatory reports across jurisdictions.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation throughout reporting lifecycles.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.
