Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior backend developer to join a Regulatory Reporting Platform for a major US investment bank. You will design and optimize data pipelines, implement scalable processing, and ensure data quality for regulatory outputs across 240 jurisdictions.

The role requires strong Java and Spark experience, deep SQL knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams in Ukraine, Poland, and the US within an agile delivery model.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial Java experience with 2+ years using Spark.
• Experience designing scalable backend applications for large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with multiple data sources.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems in a global, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a large-scale Regulatory Reporting Platform.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Java and Spark.
• Ingest, transform, and enrich data from multiple sources for regulatory reports.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams in an agile setup.
