Job summary

BTSE invites an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our team building a real-time data platform. You will design, optimize, and maintain high-performance, low-latency systems that ingest and process cross-source data feeds for pricing and analytics.

Role requires deep expertise in Java, multi-threading, and real-time data architectures. You will collaborate with DevOps and other teams to ensure robust, scalable production code and contribute to data-driven improvements across the firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain a real-time data platform with low latency.
• Implement composite reference-value algorithms for volatile inputs.
• Develop aggregation methodologies (volume-weighted, time-weighted, median-based).
• Deliver accurate data feeds to monitoring and control systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy production-ready Java code.
• Backtest models and propose data-driven improvements.
• Document methodologies and pricing standards.
• Support onboarding new instrument listings.
