Job summary

RE Partners is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our team and help build, modernize, and enhance a Master Data Platform that serves as the source for demographic data and robust data management across customers and related entities.

You will design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services in Java, working with GraphDB, Scala, and data processing at scale. The role focuses on security, regulatory compliance, and data integrity in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and JVM internals (Concurrency, JMM)
• Exposure to big data technologies and distributed processing
• Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Lakes and warehousing solutions
• Strong experience with Kubernetes; building Kubernetes operators is a plus
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance applications using Java.
• Work with GraphDB and Scala-based components to manage complex data relationships and processing.
• Support big data systems operating at scale with real-time data processing.
• Build and optimize systems for transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud detection.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance for business-critical workloads.
