Job summary

Luxoft Kraków is looking for a passionate Software Developer to migrate high-performance components from C++ to Java, enabling exchanges, liquidity pools, brokers and price vendors in the Derivatives Principal Flow Trading domain.

You will join a fast-moving Agile team, own front-to-back deliveries, and collaborate with stakeholders to introduce automated processes and explore new areas once migration is complete.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, ideally focusing on low latency systems.
• Willingness to work with C++ in scope of components migration to Java.
• Knowledge about TCP/IP and networking.
• Knowledge about event streaming and messaging systems.
• Able to produce secure, stable and good performing code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing and new components for internal and external exchanges, liquidity pools, brokers and price vendors.
• Migrate remaining C++ components to Java.
• Expand into other areas of the application stack after migration.
• Deliver front-to-back assigned deliveries in a fast-moving Agile team.
• Develop new functionality as well as automated test scripts.
• Deliver innovative solutions in the Derivatives Principal Flow Trading Business.
