Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a passionate Software Developer for its Technology team in Poland. You will maintain and develop components for exchanges, liquidity pools, and price vendors, with a migration path from C++ to Java. The role offers exposure to derivatives trading tech.

The ideal candidate has a strong Java background and an interest in moving to Java-focused architecture, working in an Agile environment and contributing to automated testing and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, ideally focusing on low latency systems.
• Readiness to work with C++ in scope of components migration to Java.
• Knowledge about TCP/IP and networking.
• Knowledge about event streaming and messaging systems.
• Able to produce secure, stable and good performing code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing components for internal/external exchanges, liquidity pools, brokers and price vendors.
• Migrate remaining C++ components to Java and lead transition.
• Expand into other areas of the application stack once all components are in Java.
• Deliver front-to-back assigned deliveries within an Agile team.
