Job summary

TechTree is seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our international team building enterprise-grade platforms for the insurance sector. You will design and implement backend services in Java/Spring Boot, focusing on financial settlement, accounting, and claims modules, with RESTful APIs and external integrations.

We value strong backend fundamentals, willingness to grow toward full-stack, and collaboration in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Willingness to learn Angular (TypeScript).
• Knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL/Oracle.
• Architectural thinking with SOLID and Clean Code.
• English at B2 level or higher; Polish at A1/A2.
• Openness to AI-assisted programming in Spec Driven Development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services in Java (Spring Boot) for settlement, accounting, funds, and claims.
• Build high-performance REST APIs and integrations with external providers.
• Own architecture and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Collaborate with BA, QA, Frontend, and Scrum Master in Agile/SAFe.
• Support gradual frontend involvement (Angular/TypeScript) as needed.
