Job summary

SOLID.Jobs is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building modern, distributed applications for banking and financial services. The role focuses on scalable microservices, backend with some full-stack elements, and requires strong Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native tech.

You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based apps and microservices, build REST and gRPC services, and run workloads in Kubernetes.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong commercial experience with Java.
Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Good knowledge of SQL.
Experience with Maven.
Experience in banking or financial services.
Experience with automated testing (Cucumber).
Understanding of distributed systems and modern software practices.
Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
Build and integrate REST and gRPC services.
Work with Spring Boot and modern Java technologies.
Develop and maintain applications running in Kubernetes.
Work with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
Participate in automated testing using Cucumber.
Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Contribute to technical design and continuous improvement of the application architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a distributed environment.
