Job summary

Jit is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and evolve key business capabilities around customer onboarding, payments, identity verification and CRM integrations within a modern financial platform. You will design and implement backend services supporting the customer lifecycle.

The role requires close collaboration with architects, product teams and other engineers to deliver scalable, reliable and secure solutions in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Dataverse integrations
• Experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management
• Experience with payments integrations and KYC/onboarding processes
• Fluent English communication

You will work on backend services supporting customer lifecycle management, KYC processes, payment orchestration and integrations with cloud-based identity and CRM solutions. Responsibilities you’ll have:

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse
• Develop and maintain integrations with payment providers and KYC solutions
• Integrate authentication and identity services based on AWS Cognito
• Design scalable APIs and microservices
• Ensure security, reliability and compliance of business-critical systems
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and cross-functional engineering teams
• Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture discussions
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share engineering best practices
• Leverage AI tools to improve software delivery and engineering productivity

Expected competences and knowledge:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Dataverse integrations
• Experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management solutions
• Experience integrating external payment providers
• Understanding of KYC, onboarding or customer verification processes
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns
• Good communication skills and fluent English
• Engineering degree is highly valued
