Job summary

Jit is seeking a senior Full Stack Java Developer to join an international Commercial Cards project. You will design, build and maintain scalable microservices and modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular, with emphasis on security, reliability and continuous improvement.

You'll work in a cross-functional Agile team, participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and collaboration with Product Owners and Architects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack Java development.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs.
• Angular and Angular Material experience.
• SQL databases; Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and secure coding (OWASP).

Responsibilities

Project

Join an international team within the Commercial Cards area and contribute to the development of modern internet-facing applications supporting card-related services. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will work on business-critical solutions used by corporate customers, focusing on feature development, system reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
You will be part of a cross-functional Agile team responsible for building scalable microservices, modern web applications, and secure integrations while leveraging AI-powered development tools and automation solutions.

Responsibilities you’ll have:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular
• Create and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external services
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities discovered during SAST, dependency scanning, penetration testing, and container security assessments
• Drive secure coding practices and support OWASP compliance initiatives
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes using Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Improve application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to automation, quality assurance, and engineering excellence initiatives
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot to increase development efficiency
• Support adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation solutions within the Cards domain

Expected competences and knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
• Practical experience with Angular and Angular Material
• Good knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience resolving security vulnerabilities identified by SAST and container scanning tools
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• English at B2 level or higher
• Experience using AI-powered development tools or willingness to learn
