Job summary

Jit is seeking an Operations Engineer to ingest and maintain data sources in a Hadoop environment using the ARC Ingestion Framework. You will configure, test, deploy, and support data sources in production, ensuring reliability and stability of ingestion processes.

Project

We are looking for an Operations Engineer who will be responsible for ingesting and maintaining data sources within a Hadoop environment using the ARC Ingestion Framework. You will prepare and test configurations for new data sources, support their deployment, and maintain sources already running in production. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting ingestion-related issues and ensuring the reliability and stability of data ingestion processes.

Responsibilities you’ll have

• Preparing and maintaining configurations for data source ingestion using the ARC Ingestion Framework
• Testing and validating ingestion configurations before deployment
• Supporting the onboarding of new data sources into the Hadoop environment
• Monitoring and maintaining data sources already running in production
• Troubleshooting ingestion issues and identifying root causes
• Working with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
