Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team responsible for a large-scale Java application in the loyalty domain. You will analyze requirements, design robust solutions, and partner with product and business stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

The role includes end-to-end ownership from analysis through deployment and production support, collaboration with engineers, and building automated tests. Some travel to Warsaw is required monthly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional Java backend experience in large-scale enterprise apps.
• Expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design, and clean code practices.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Strong system architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration) and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Advanced Polish and English language skills.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on a large-scale Java application for one of the largest loyalty program. In this role, you will analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and product teams. If you are passionate about developing maintainable solutions in a complex enterprise environment, this opportunity may be the right fit for you.

This role involves business trips to Warsaw once a month.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application running in the cloud
• Analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions
• Own features end-to-end, from requirements analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and other engineers
• Communicate technical concepts and solution proposals clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and support continuous delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Java backend software development in large-scale enterprise applications and complex codebases
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, object-oriented design principles, and clean code practices
• Experience working with AWS or another major cloud provider
• Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Advanced level of Polish and English
