Job summary

Chabre is seeking a Senior Java Developer to architect and implement scalable Java applications and RESTful services. You will analyze requirements, guide technical choices, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex engineering problems.

You will work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Kafka, and microservices, leveraging SQL databases and modern tooling. Polish and English fluency are essential for cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Java engineering experience.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and data modeling knowledge.
• Extensive Spring ecosystem experience, especially Spring Boot.
• Proven backend services and RESTful APIs development.
• Proficiency in SQL and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Fluent Polish & English communication.

Working as a Senior Java Developer you will:

Architect and build advanced, easily scalable enterprise-level Java applications.

Collaborate in defining and analyzing software requirements.

Advise on technical choices and shape the technology stack across all project phases.

Partner with stakeholders and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve intricate engineering problems.

Proactively spot areas for system optimization and propose actionable enhancements.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of hands-on background in engineering Java-based solutions.

Proficiency in relational databases (SQL) and solid understanding of ORM frameworks, specifically JPA (Hibernate).

Familiarity with event streaming platforms like Kafka or alternative message brokers.

Fundamental ability to utilize modern AI tools in daily work.

Hands-on practice designing and deploying microservices-based architectures.

Fluent Polish & English communication skills, ready to thrive in diverse, cross-border teams.

Nice to have:

Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts).

Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Working with data serialization formats (JSON, Protobuf, Avro).

Tuning and profiling application performance.

Connecting with third-party external systems.

Background in the digital health, telecare, or telehealth sectors.
